The Arc of the Virginia Peninsula
"It is my pleasure to recommend George Bowman for your upcoming event. George frequently DJs at The Arc’s events and is our favorite DJ! He is a dedicated professional who goes out of his way to ensure every guest at our event has a wonderful time and that we are satisfied with his services.
The Arc of the Virginia Peninsula is a nonprofit that serves more than 1,000 people with disabilities annually. In addition to our programs, we hold events so individuals can socialize with one another (and dance!). George works within our limited budget to help create memorable events for people with disabilities. He has served as DJ for our large dances and holiday parties (with more than 200 guests) to smaller functions (club meetings with approximately 20 people). George is comfortable with any size crowd and has an amazing set-up that he customizes to meet our needs.
We are constantly impressed with the care George shows individuals with disabilities during our events. You can frequently find him on the dance floor teaching them new dances and interacting with them. Several individuals in our program have said they want to DJ one day, and George is happy to speak with them and show them his set-up. George also always brings a spare microphone so one individual who likes to lip sync to songs is able to hold a microphone. His consideration and thoughtfulness separate him from other DJs who show up just to play music.
I encourage you to use George’s services for your upcoming event. He will go out of his way to create a memorable event for both you and your guests. He will also keep your dance floor full throughout your entire event!"
